Title II-A Consortium
Title II-A is one of the components of the 2001 federal legislation, called No Child Left Behind or NCLB. Its purpose is to develop and sustain high quality teachers and principals.
Title II-A supports a variety of workshops at ESU 10 and at school sites in the following categories:
- Assessment
- Classroom Management
- Curriculum
- Instruction
- Leadership
- Response to Intervention

All schools are eligible to apply for Title II-A grant funding via an application process from the Nebraska Department of Education. Some ESU 10 districts have chosen to consort their funds for Title II-A, and teachers/administrators from member districts who attend these trainings/sessions are eligible for substitute reimbursement of $100 per day or non-contracted services pay of $100 per day.
All ESU 10 districts may attend Title II-A supported sessions, but non-consortium schools may need to pay for registration costs, and participants will not be reimbursed for substitutes or for non-contracted services pay from ESU 10.
Contact Denise O'Brien at dobrien@esu10.org, Bob Lungrin at blungrin@esu10.org or Gaylene Mays at gmays@esu10.org for more information or eligibility status regarding any session supported by the ESU 10 Title II-A Grant.
