High Ability Learner


The High Ability Learner (HAL) Consortium consists of schools who have pooled their high ability learner funds to better serve the needs of their high-ability students.  Services offered include consultations, assistance, in-services, and workshops dealing with HAL identification, curriculum, and instruction.

The Consortium also sponsors the ESU 10 Regional Invention Convention.

Upcoming Events

HAL Consortium Sponsored Workshops for Teachers. Register on ODIE

There will be three additional High Ability Learner workshops offered at ESU 10 this year.  The workshops will focus on identification, planning, and programming for meeting the needs of High Ability Learners.  There will be special topics presented at each workshop as well as time provided for creating and/or updating local HAL plans.  The HAL workshops will be free of charge to all HAL Consortium member schools. Workshop dates:  October 26th, January 25th, and March 28th.
