Group Policies are a powerful feature of Active Directory that allows domain administrators to control, secure, and effectively manage users and Windows computers in their Windows 2012 domain.  Group Policies tightly integrate with Active Directory to provide allow administrators to easily assign group policies to only those users or computers that require the policy.

This 2-day workshop will include the following topics:

- Introduction to Group Policy and Group Policy Structure

- Using Group Policy Manager

- How Group Policy Settings Are Applied in Active Directory

- Modifying Group Policy Inheritance

- Monitoring and Troubleshooting Group Policy

- Using Group Policy to Manage User Accounts

- Assigning Scripts by Using Group Policy

- Using Group Policy to Redirect User Folders

- Using Group Policy to Help Protect the User Environment

- Managing Network Security using Group Policy

- Using Group Policy to Configure Account Policies

- Managing Computers using Group Policies
