This is a hands-on
workshop to learn the process of integrating workforce skills, technology
integration, and your curriculum requirements. The morning will be spent
modeling the six stages of the Pathways program, making connections to real
world applications. In the afternoon, attendees will develop a “makers” mentality
as you explore NPPD’s STEM Connections Lab (a portable maker space). During
your time in the technology “playground” you will participate in activities
that “Make IT: DO, Make IT: NEW, Make AN: IMPACT, & Make IT: YOU!!”
We encourage a student to attend with the teacher. “Pathways to a Technical Future” will be led by Chad Johnson from Nebraska Public Power District.
