A Closer Look at Problem Solving

The ESU 10 Special Education and theTeaching & Learning departments are continuing a collaborative effort to infuse Continuous School Improvement (CIP), Student Assistance Teams (SAT), and Response to Intervention (RtI) within a problem solving model.
This will begin a transition to the national movement for providing a multi-tiered system of supports. The purpose of this training is to provide district teams with information, resources, and technical assistance in developing action plans for their school.

Participants will:
    * Build knowledge related to problem solving and
       systems of support for students;
    * Evaluate current problem solving practices;
    * Create an action plan to assist with continuous
       improvement of the problem solving process.
