A.P.L. Instructional Skills & Management Workshop  


A.P.L. is a 5-day workshop. One registration will sign you up for all sessions. It is recommended that you attend all dates. The one-time cost is for all dates listed below.

Participants will be trained in instructional objectives, anticipatory set, closure, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, success ladder, covert and overt active participation, managing student behavior, action plan, management strategies, maximum concept, classroom conditions, teaching episode, feeling tone, level of concern, reinforcers, interest, practice, time and quantity, knowledge of results, and modeling.

These instructional skills and strategies will help educators become proficient in classroom management. Participants will recognize the significance of inquiry for life-long learning. Reflection on the application of strategies will facilitate learning and increase quality classroom management skills.

Registration fee will be paid for ESU 10 Title II-A Consortium Member schools and Perkins/CTE Grant Members.

Only core academic teachers, as defined by NCLB, are eligible for substitute pay and/or contracted services pay.

Substitute reimbursement pay of $100 per teacher/per day for Perkins/CTE Grant Members is available.

Registration deadline is one week prior to workshop unless otherwise noted. Cancellations not received 2 business days in advance and no-shows will be billed the registration fee.
