Leadership

The working definition used at Educational Service Unit 10 for leadership is; Leadership is the process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective. Leaders have a vision that they share with others. It is the leader who binds the organization together with beliefs, values and knowledge and who makes it more cohesive and coherent. We can also define leadership as a process that motivates people to excel in their field. We look forward to working with administrative and teacher leaders in the goal of increasing the overall capacity and effectiveness of their work to meet the needs of the students they serve. Our staff is eager to promote and share the research and findings of such authors as; Reeves, Whittaker, McNulty, Marzano, Buckingham and Coffman, and others.
