I am excited to join the ESU 10 team as the new Special Education Coordinator.
I am a true Doane Tiger! I have graduated from Doane College with all of my degrees; Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Early Childhood, Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a second Master’s degree in Education Leadership. I am currently working on my Education Specialist degree.
I began my teaching career in Gothenburg and loved the 11 years I spent working for Gothenburg Public Schools. For the past two years, I have been the Secondary Special Education Coordinator for the North Platte Public School District.
My husband, Mike and I reside in Gothenburg with our two amazing children; ten-year-old daughter, Lexi and a four-year-old son, Lathan.
When I am not too busy with work, I enjoy spending time with my family, working with our family’s cattle operation, scrapbooking, and fundraising for the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society.
I am thrilled to be a part of the ESU 10 family and look forward to serving the surrounding school districts and communities.
