Getting Started With Mailman

(Depending on your situation, http://lists.esu10.org may have to be substituted with http://lists.esu11.org, http://lists.esu15.org, http://lists.esu16.org, or http://lists.k12.ne.us )

To subscribe to a list:

Open a web browser to http://lists.esu10.org

Click on the list you want to subscribe to

Under the “Subscribing to ...” section, enter your email address, name, password, and click subscribe.

Check your email. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provided. Follow the instructions to confirm your membership to the list.

Thats it! You are now subscribed to a list

I'm already subscribed to a list, but don't have a password. Now what?

Navigate a web browser to http://lists.esu10.org

Select the list you are subscribed to but don't have a password for

After selecting the list, scroll to the bottom of the next screen

Enter your email address at the bottom of the screen next to the “Unsubscribe or edit options” button, and select that button (You must already be subscribed with the email address you provide!)

Scroll to the bottom of the next screen and click the “Remind” button. Check your email; the password will be sent to you shortly

I'm subscribed to a list and know my password, now what?

EITHER begin sending email to <list>@lists.esu10.org where <list> is the name of the list

OR

Edit your subscription options by opening your web browser to http://lists.esu10.org

Click on a list you are subscribed to

Scroll to the bottom of the page, enter your email address next to the “Unsubscribe or edit options” button, and click the button

Enter your password, and click “Log in.” If you don't know your password, refer to the previous section.

Make sure your name is set under the “membership information” section. You can also change your email address and password, unsubscribe from the list, view your other list subscriptions, get a password reminder sent to your email address, and edit your other list options.
