Meet the ESU 10 Special Education Staff
My name is Marcy Stevens. I am a speech/language pathologist currently serving the Litchfield and Greeley-Wolbach school districts.
I am certified to provide service to students from birth through grade twelve. That statement is especially true this year as I have a group of seniors as well as an infant only a few months old on my caseload. The variety in the students I serve is one on the things I love about being a SLP for ESU10.
My husband and I are both original “Kearney-ites” and have lived in Kearney all of our lives. We have four children, two girls and two boys, ranging in age from 10 to 22.
My name is Patti Neill and I have been with Nebraska Educational Assistive Technology (NEAT) for ten years. We are located in ESU 10’s Cozad Center. NEAT provides assistive technology for the state of Nebraska to children ranging in age from birth to twenty-one. I am involved with the equipment loan program. Our loan program is available to individuals experiencing a disability and also to parents, agencies, schools or anyone involved with those individuals. The loan program provides short-term loans of devices and allows consumers to try out items to see if they are appropriate before making a purchase.
I am also involved with our website, www.at4all.com. AT4ALL (Assistive Technology for All) is a free, online, statewide service. The website www.at4all.com is a way to connect people across the state with equipment they need and offers a place for individuals to sell or give away equipment that they no longer use. We also have access to approximately eighteen other programs who have listed their loan equipment. Individuals are able to view and check out items via the site.
