During the week of June 25-29, ESU 10 teachers attended the Quantum Learning Workshop at Sunrise Middle School with Dan St. Romain, certified QL Instructor. This training was brought to ESU 10 in a partnership between ESU 10 Title II-A Consortium and Bryant Elementary, Kearney Public Schools.
Quantum Learning is a multi sensory, multi-intelligence, brain-compatible package, boosting teachers’ ability to inspire and students’ ability to achieve a fresh, alive, applicable, and practical approach to learning. It is founded on educationally sound theories of Multiple Intelligences (Gardner), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (Grinder and Bandler), Experiential Learning (Hahn),Cooperative Learning (Johnson and Johnson), and Elements of Effective Instruction (Madeline Hunter). The methodology is based on over 20 years of experience and research with over 35,000 students and the synergy of thousands of teachers.
Teachers learned new ways to maximize the impact of their teaching efforts through the development of relationships, orchestration of learning, and delivery of curriculum.

On August 9, Dan St. Romain will return to work with the teachers on developing classroom materials using the ideas that they learned this summer.
